How this lesson runs
- Say the word. Segment it into sounds (Elkonin boxes or fingers).
- Map each sound to a letter or grapheme with letter cards.
- Write the word in the primary journal. Picture space on top, lines below, as OCPS Grade 1 lists name the book.
