Science
Grade 1 science is observation first: living things, weather, light and sound. The composition notebook already on the SCPS Grade 1 list becomes the observation journal.
How this crate runs
- Look at the object or the sky. Name what you see, not what you guess.
- Record the date and one drawing or sentence in the journal.
- Repeat. Weather and living things need a log, not a single look.
